Read James 5:1-3 & Psalm44
Christians do not despise $$ or any other God-given gift. God gives us the means for sustaining life and for having something to share with those in need. $$ become false riches when they become ends in themselves. For us Jesus is our priceless treasure, our highest good.
Lord Jesus, may we not covet any other treasure but You, for in You we have every spiritual blessing that we need. Amen.
